Great Lakes Strategies (GLS) is a full-service benefit administration firm that began in 1988 as ComeriComp, a division of Comerica Bank. In 1995, GLS was spun-off in an employee purchase. Since 1995, GLS has grown over 30% each year and has twice been honored as a Future 50 Company and a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
GLS offers full benefit administration services for health and welfare benefits. Additionally, we offer services in pension, stock administration, Reimbursement Accounts, COBRA/HIPAA and direct billing. Our benefit service center responds to inquiries from active, inactive and retired populations, as well as human resource personnel.
GLS' technology offers proprietary benefit administration systems that can accommodate customization of plan designs and administration. Self-service is available through both integrated Web and IVR applications. Reports and interfaces can be customized to client specifications. All of our technologies are supported by a fully-dedicated IT department that has the capability of rapidly mobilizing to support your clients' ever-changing needs.
Currently, we service 100 plus clients, located in 48 states, representing a cross-section of industry and the
